Acknowledging that our whole lives are an act of worship, Sundays at 10am are our time to gather together as a Christian family. The service goes for around 75-90 minutes, this includes singing, praying, reading the Bible and hearing a gospel message. It is a time to refresh our minds and souls and encourage each other in Jesus Christ.
We enjoy praising and worshiping God with a healthy mix of traditional hymns and a selection of contemporary worship. In our 'Info' section you can find a selection of songs we regularly sing on Sundays.
We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of God's Word. We are convinced that when the Word is revealed it changes people's lives for the better. So naturally, we ensure that everything else that happens on Sunday revolves around the reading and preaching of God's Word found in the Bible.
We love to pray at Darwin Presbyterian Church. Prayer is two way communication with God. We worship, praise and glorify him, present him with requests and he in turn edifies his people, building them up sustaining them with the presence of the Holy Spirit. We pray for our world, our nation, our city and individuals around us.
We enjoy having children in church, and we understand that sometimes they need a quiet space. We have a small room available should you feel that you need a quiet place during the service.
Kids are a part of our church family and we enjoy having them in our service for the duration.
After our service most weeks we share in tea and coffee and a small morning tea. However on the first Sunday of each month we fellowship around a shared 'pot-luck' style lunch.
